🔥 The Real Reason I Love What I Do (And How I Handle Negativity While Growing EZ THAI) 🔥
Today, I’ll be honest—I felt a little emotional.
Like any business owner putting their heart into what they do, sometimes you get comments or opinions that sting.
Not because we doubt ourselves, but because when you care deeply, negativity can feel heavy.
But here’s what I’ve learned—and what I want to share with you, my EZ THAI family who has supported us for 14+ years:
👉 I don’t respond to negativity with more negativity.
Instead, I ask myself—“Is there something I could do better? How can we serve our customers even more?”
Because the truth is… we can’t control what other people say. But we can control our attitude, our actions, and the experience we give to our customers every single day.
💛 Why I Love What I Do
People often ask—“Pat, why are you so passionate about EZ THAI?”
1️⃣ I love business. It’s how I create opportunity and impact.
2️⃣ I love people. Customers, my team, our community—this is my “why.”
3️⃣ I love helping people. Whether it’s a meal that makes your day better or a job that changes someone’s life.
4️⃣ I lead with heart. It’s not about making the most money—it’s about delivering the most value and reinvesting back into my team and quality ingredients.
Because of YOU, we’ve been able to partner with farmers back in Thailand to grow the teas and ingredients you love. Today, EZ THAI has helped create over 100+ jobs for families in Thailand.
That’s what fills my heart. 💛
🚀 My Answer to Negativity While Growing
Negativity will always exist. The bigger your dreams, the louder the critics.
But here’s the truth:
💡 Negativity only wins if you let it in.
I choose to stay focused on what matters—serving our customers, supporting our team, and giving back to the people who believe in us.
When you keep creating value for people, positivity always drowns out the noise.
💬 My Message To You
To anyone building something meaningful—keep going.
Focus on the people who appreciate you.
The more value you create, the more the right people will rally around you.
Thank you from my heart—for every order, every kind word, and every bit of support that lets us keep doing what we love.
💛 Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey
EZ THAI is more than just a restaurant—it’s a community, a team, and a bridge that connects my hometown in Thailand to our family here in Calvert County.
With love,
